CNBC ranks Wyoming #1 in America's top 10 states for Business

Wyoming has ranked No. 1 in overall economy, a status that elevated the state into the top 10 ranking for business this year.

The rankings were compiled by CNBC through its annual study. The parameters of the study include 51 different measures of competitiveness separated into ten categories, including: Cost of Living and Access to Capital, Business Friendliness, Technology and Innovation, Education, Economy, Infrastructure & Transportation, Quality of Life, Workforce, and Cost of Doing Business.

In addition to overall economy strength, Wyoming also scored highly in Quality of Life (No.9) and Cost of Doing Business (No. 10).
