Deaver’s only school, scheduled for demolition due to declining student numbers, will see new life as a manufacturing facility in 2013.

Ridgeline Energy Services Inc. broke ground this week on a remodel of the 65,000 square-foot school. The company intends to hire an additional 15-20 people in the first year, a huge number for a town of only 178.

Ridgeline will use the facility to design and manufacture convergence and degassing systems, molded tank products, and storage systems.
